Dr. Jules Goddard (M.A. Oxford; MBA Wharton; PhD LBS) is one of the founders of the exed program at the London Business School (LBS) and Research associate at the Management Lab.
Jules teaches, writes and consults in the areas of business creativity, strategic thinking, leadership and corporate transformation.
Expertise: A Lead designer and director of senior-level, high-profile development programmes for many companies, including BP, ICL-Fujitsu, Rolls-Royce, Orange, Prudential, Ericsson, BG Group, Rio Tinto, Mars, Smith and Nephew, SCA, Danone, and Volvo.
Over the last 10 years, he has worked with a third of the FTSE 100 companies. Specialist advisor on strategic issues facing professional services firms, including Price Water House Coopers, Deloittes, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Smith System Engineering, Conran Design Group, Braxton, Banque Paribas, Lazard Brothers, J Walter Thompson, Benfield, SHL, and Credit Suisse.
Publications: Goddard has published various articles on corporate strategy in leading European strategy and consultancy magazines, including "The Architecture of Core Competence", (Business Strategy Review, 1997). Recent articles on the implementation of strategy, the role of the centre, the architecture of core competence, the management of brands, and the intellectual history of marketing. Contributor to “Business: The Ultimate Resource” (Bloomsbury), “The Encyclopaedic Dictionary of Psychology” (Blackwell), and “The Complete Guide to Modern Management” (Mercury).

In March, 2007 MLab and the Baltic Institute for Leadership Development (BILD) held a Conference for Baltic executives entitled Management Innovation – A Sustainable Source of Competitive Advantages in Vilnius, Lithuania. The conference was attended by close to 200 senior managers, owners, business association leaders and members of the academic community.
In April, 2012 BILD organized an interactive seminar for management teams "Management Innovation - Future development of the principles of the organization", led by Dr. Jules Goddard.
